Bridge over Warwick Swamp Closing for Construction

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has informed Prince George County of an upcoming detour on Route 622. Weather permitting, the bridge over Warwick Swamp on Fairwood Road (Route 622) will be closed on Wednesday February 1st through Thursday, February 2nd for bridge work. From the South side of the structure, motorists will take Butler Branch Road (Route 607) to College Road (Route 608), then back to Fairwood Road.
