Public Information Office
The duty of the Public Information Officer is to disseminate information to the public through a variety of means including social media and press releases. Mrs. Lipford reports directly to the County Administrator and works closely with the Board of Supervisors and department leadership to share information on a continuous basis. Jackie bears the responsibility of providing timely and accurate information to the public and media with the aim of promoting and increasing understanding of general government activities, programs, events and initiatives.
Social Media & Calendar of Events
Residents can follow the activities of Prince George County government by “following” us on Twitter or “liking” us on Facebook. Citizens are encouraged to check out the Calendar of Events on the main page of our county website and sign up for The County Connection, a weekly Friday afternoon update of activities.

Should you have an unresolved County-related question, or don’t know to which department your question should be referred, please contact the PIO via e-mail. Community and citizen inquiries will receive a response within 24 hours. Questions received on a Friday, holiday, or weekend will be responded to the following business day. Residents can also use the online Citizen Request Portal to submit questions or complaints.
