Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Prince George Department of Social Services will be seeing clients by appointments only during the pandemic. If an appointment or assistance is needed, please call (804) 733-2650 Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
You may drop all completed applications and documents in the drop box located in front of the building near the entrance. Items dropped off are retrieved daily for processing.
If you are applying for benefit program services, you may do so using one of the following methods:
- For SNAP, TANF, MEDICAID, Child Care Assistance, Energy programs – go to https://commonhelp.virginia.gov or call toll free 1 (855) 635-4370.
- To apply for MEDICAID only – call Cover VA – 1 (855) 242-8282
You may also call the office and an application will be mailed to you.
If you need to report adult or child abuse or neglect, during normal business hours, please call (804) 733-2650 (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
After hours and on weekends please call:
