REMINDER: VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS IN PRINCE GEORGE

Public invited to learn about proposed turn lane construction at August 10 meeting

SOUTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a location and design public hearing on proposed intersection improvements on Route 460 and Queen Street (Route 618) in Prince George County.

The primary purpose of the meeting is to review the proposed location and design for the construction of an eastbound left turn lane along Route 460 at the intersection of Queen Street, and receive feedback from citizens and stakeholders.

The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. on August 10 at the Disputanta Community Building, located at 10010 B County Drive, Disputanta, VA 23842. It will be held in an open forum format with no formal presentation given.

Citizens will have an opportunity to review materials and displays, and ask questions to VDOT officials in attendance to better understand the proposed project.
