Self-Guided Wetlands Paddles
Prince George Parks & Recreation in partnership with U. S. Fish and Wildlife Services is offering FREE programming at James River National Wildlife Refuge in Prince George. Reserve a canoe, or bring your own canoe/kayak, to paddle the tranquil waters of Powell Creek (4550 Flowerdew Hundred Rd., N. Prince George, VA 23860).
Prior canoe/kayak experience is recommended, Participants must be at least 12 years old. Anyone under 18 years old must participate with a parent or legal guardian.
Each of the self-guided wetlands paddle runs from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Pre-registration is required. EACH person that will participate is required to register. Each date is limited to a total of 16 participants. Registration is required to participate. Registration will conducted on-line only. Registration begins March 4, 2024 and continues until full.
