Company 1 originated in 1957 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized the need for fire protection in the community.  Company 1 has evolved into a group of dedicated active volunteers and associate members who serve the county year round.  Engine 1, Engine 12, Tankers 1, Jeep 1, Brush 1, Squad 1, Support 1, Utility 1, Truck 1, Hazmat 1, and Responder 1  are all assigned to Company 1.  Company 1 conducts Regular meetings and training are held on Monday nights at 7 pm.
