Absentee voting is available prior to each election.

How can I apply to work the polls?
The Electoral Board appoints Officers of the Election for one-year appointments and only registered voters may be appointed. Anyone interested in becoming an officer of the election should call the Registrar's Office at (804) 722-8748.
What voting equipment does Prince George County use?
The DS200 Optical Scan Unit by ES&S Voting Systems has been used in all Prince George County elections since Nov. 7, 2017. The DS200 is an optical scan voting system with an express vote attachment which meets all of the disability voting requirements. It works very much like optical scan equipment that had been used in Prince George County the 18 years prior.
