Jury Duty

 

Please visit the Supreme Court of Virginia’s Web site for information regarding jury duty. The information at this site includes general information, selecting juries for trial and deciding on a verdict.

The Prince George County Sheriff’s Department will send to the jurors a questionnaire for additional information.

Questions regarding jury duty may also be directed to the Prince George Circuit Court Clerk’s Office at (804) 733-2640.

If you have been assigned individual dates for jury duty, you must call the Clerk’s Office at (804) 733-2640 prior to 5:00 pm the day before each of your scheduled dates to make certain your presence is still needed. Do not leave a message on this line as this line does not provide service for retrieving messaging. The Sheriff’s Department will also be contacting you if a jury date has been canceled.
