Civil Process Fees
Prince George County Sheriff’s Office services the County of Prince George to include Riverside Regional Jail, FCI-Federal Corrections Facility and Fort Gregg-Adams(Formerly known as Fort Lee).
Our department’s service fees are $75.00 (Seventy Five Dollars) for out of state paper service and $12.00 (Twelve Dollars) for in state paper service. The payment must be made by cashier’s check or money order to “Prince George Sheriff’s Office” for the full amount before service is made. Our department does not accept cash payment or payment from a personal check. We also cannot attempt service of a paper and bill later.
What is needed for service:
- Full payment before service attempt.
- Papers to be served- 2 full copies (1 for the subject being served and one to be returned to the sender).
- Affidavit of service.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope to include postage on the full amount of the entire package. Full postage is required in case the service papers cannot be served and need to be returned.
- Contact information on the sender in case there are any further questions.
