The Community Services Unit encompasses several different programs such as the Community Services Program and the Crime Prevention Program.  The Community Services Program contains the School Resource Officers, the Police Explorers, the Honor Guard and the Volunteer Police Chaplains. The Crime Prevention Program contains programs such as Neighborhood Watch, Business Watch, Child Safety Seat and Bicycle Safety.

The Community Services Unit provides the following services:
Residential/Business Security Surveys
Child Safety Seat Installations
Talks to Groups: Traffic Complaints
Inoperable Vehicles
Neighborhood/Business Watch
