Prince George County Names Donald Hunter Board of Supervisors Chairman

Prince George, VA – The Prince George Board of Supervisors met Tuesday evening for the first organizational meeting of 2023. The board elected a new board chairman to preside over meetings as Donald Hunter will replace Chair Marlene Waymack. T.J. Webb was named Vice-Chairman of the board.

It was voted to keep the same meeting dates for 2023. The board will meet Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM for Work Sessions and 7:00 PM for Business Meetings, every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

In addition to voting on the newly elected chairman, the following board appointments were made:

Crater District Planning Commission (One-Year Term, ending December 31, 2023) – Marlene Waymack
Metropolitan Planning Commission (One-Year Term, ending December 31, 2023) – T.J. Webb
Member to the Virginia Gateway Region (One-Year Term, ending December 31, 2023) – Donald Hunter
Local Emergency Planning Committee (One-Year Term, ending December 31, 2023) – Floyd Brown
