Please be advised that the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has informed Prince George County that the Benjamin Harrison Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic during the following times while bridge maintenance takes place:

  • Beginning Friday, December 9th at 7:00 pm and ending Monday, December 12th at 5:00 am
  • Beginning Monday, December 12th at 7:00 pm and ending Tuesday, December 13th at 5:00 am
  • Beginning Tuesday, December 13th at 7:00 pm  and ending Wednesday, December 14th at 5:00 am
  • Beginning Wednesday December 14th at 7:00 pm and ending Thursday, December 15th at 5:00 am
  • Beginning Thursday December 15th at 7:00 pm and ending Friday, December 16th at 5:00 am

These dates and times are weather and supply chain permitting. VDOT's “back-up” dates for repairs are December 16th – December 23rd. Updates will be provided on our County webpage and social media as needed.
