Water Maintenance Activities in Beechwood Manor Complete

Prince George, VA – On October 31, 2022 Prince George County Utilities began conducting pipe-cleaning activities in the Beechwood Manor neighborhood. The pipe-cleaning was completed on November 2. The boil water advisory for the neighborhood of Beechwood Manor is currently still in effect. Residents will be informed when they no longer need to boil their water.


Water Maintenance Activities in Cedarwood Subdivision begin November 3

Prince George, VA – On November 3rd and 4th, Prince George County Utilities will conduct pipe-cleaning activities in the Cedarwood Subdivision. The maintenance includes a method to clean public water mains called Ice Pigging. The cleaning is scheduled from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM on both days. During these hours, your water service may be temporarily turned off to reduce the amount of sodium (table salt) solution entering the service lines.

A boil water advisory will be in effect during these activities as a safety precaution. Upon completion of these activities, the water will be sent to a lab for testing. Upon positive results from the lab, residents will be informed they no longer need to boil their water.

Prince George, VA – On November 7th, Prince George County Utilities will conduct pipe-cleaning activities in the Rivers Edge Subdivision along Bicors Drive, Emily Lane, Thomas Drive and Liverman Drive. The maintenance includes a method to clean public water mains called Ice Pigging. The cleaning is scheduled from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. During these hours, your water service may be temporarily turned off to reduce the amount of sodium (table salt) solution entering the service lines.
