Water Maintenance Activities Continue in Beechwood Manor

Prince George, VA
– On October 31, 2022 Prince George County Utilities began conducting pipe-cleaning activities in the Beechwood Manor neighborhood. The maintenance includes a method to clean public water mains called Ice Pigging. During the hours of 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM, water service was temporarily turned off on November 2 to reduce the amount of sodium solution entering the service lines. Maintenance activities are scheduled through November 7, 2022.

The boil water advisory for the neighborhood of Beechwood Manor will remain in effect through Friday, November 4, 2022 as a safety precaution. The County will provide an update to residents once they no longer need to boil their water. Should you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding the field work, please contact Frank Haltom, Director of Engineering and Utilities, Prince George County at 804-722-8688 or fhaltom@princegeorgecountyva.gov. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
