Prince George County Farmers’ Market Fall Festival & Final Market of the 2022 Season

Prince George, VA – On Saturday, October 29, 2022, the Prince George Farmers’ Market will hold their final market of the season at Scott Memorial Park. In addition to vendors, the market will feature a family friendly fall festival. Activities include flart (dart game), pumpkin ring toss, eyeball relay, apple grab, pumpkin picking, pop and pass, ping pong and football toss, potato pass and monster destruction. Candy and door prizes can be earned by playing these games.

Throughout the day kids can search for over 200 candy filled pumpkin eggs hidden around the festival grounds. Organizers have also hidden twelve miniature pumpkins. Children lucky enough to find these special pumpkins will be able to choose between a prize and a $5 token to spend at the market. At 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM children can participate in a fall craft. Space is limited and registration is required in advance. To register, participants need to email the market manager at farmersmarket@princegeorgecountyva.gov with the child’s name and age. Children are welcome to participate in story time at 10:00 AM and receive a free book.

Corrie Hurt, Market Manager stated, “There is no better place to be on Saturday than the Farmers’ Market in Prince George. We love to bring the community together at every opportunity.”  Hurt went on to say, “There will be tons of vendors selling produce, honey, eggs, crafts, crocheted items, wooden creations, baked goods, hot cider, and Raices Puerto Rican Cuisine will be selling delicious, fresh food. There will be something for everyone.”
