Brian Gordineer Named Prince George County
Real Estate Assessor

 

Prince George, VA - Prince George County Administrator, Mr. Jeffrey D. Stoke, has announced that Brian E. Gordineer, has been appointed Real Estate Assessor for Prince George County, VA.

Mr. Gordineer will assume the responsibilities August 1.  He is currently the Real Estate Assessor for the City of Petersburg. “We are very fortunate to be able to welcome Mr. Gordineer to join our team,” commented Stoke.  “In his first two years with the City of Petersburg, he and his team worked extremely hard to earn the City the Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration, an achievement shared by just fifty assessment offices across the world. He has the confidence and willingness to have continued success in Prince George County.”

Mr. Gordineer inherits a department that has been extremely busy the last few months serving citizens amidst increasing land and home values. “Brian understands the challenges of our residents,” Stoke said. “His leadership style fits perfectly into the opportunities ahead to continue to advance the department.

Mr. Gordineer received his Bachelor’s Degree from The College of William and Mary, and his Master’s of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary – Mason School of Business.  Mr. Gordineer was chosen from a pool of applicants from as far as Alaska.
