Arrest made in Larcenies from Gaming Machines


(Prince George, VA) – Arrest made in Larcenies from Gaming Machines. 

On May 26, 2022, Prince George County Police Department responded to the Star Express in the 11800 block of South Crater Road for a reported robbery. Officers arrived on scene and located two suspects attempting to break into Gaming machines. After further investigation, it was discovered that the suspects had stolen approximately $3500 cash from one of the machines.  The stolen cash was returned to Star Express by Law Enforcement.

The suspects, identified as Monica Smith, age 37, of Decatur, Georgia, and Quentin Murry, age 37, of Decatur, Georgia, were in possession of a loaded Glock 9mm handgun, additional 9mm ammunition, marijuana products, Schedule I/II Narcotics, and a variety of specialized keys and lock picking tools.

Both individuals have been charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses related to tampering and stealing monies from gaming machines.
