Dear Friend,
As my office continues to monitor reports of mail delivery delays throughout the Commonwealth, I'd like to take a moment to hear from you.
As you know, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) plays a crucial role in helping Americans remain connected and healthy – a particularly important mission during a pandemic. Therefore, I’m deeply concerned that on-time mail delivery rates have fallen to unacceptable levels, especially in recent months.
As I continue communicating with local USPS officials, I’d like to know if your household has experienced any mail delivery issues and how these issues may be affecting you or your loved ones.
Let me know by filling out my survey, which you can find by clicking here.
While we may not be able to address every individual concern directly, this will allow my office to get a more thorough understanding of the situation and to bring some of these issues directly to USPS leadership.
From delivering medications and household goods, to stimulus checks, educational materials, and critical bills, USPS continues to be an essential part of Americans’ everyday lives – and it should function accordingly.
If your household is not receiving mail in a timely manner, I hope you will take 30 seconds to let me know.
If you want to share your thoughts about any other issue that’s important to you, you can send me an email any time using the form on my Senate website. You can also follow me on Facebook and Twitter. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
|
