Message Regarding Donations to Afghan Refugees

9 Sep Update - Operation Eagle at Fort Lee – Our CASA Director, Ms. Angie Ritz, drove down her second car load of donations from our friends in NOVA yesterday and provided some recommendations.

1. Donations – highly recommend only sending new clothing items as the volunteers are spending lots of energy sorting through donations and
discarding inappropriate or stained clothing. You can also mail items to: Operation Eagle, 1421 C Ave, Fort Lee, VA 23801.

Relocation Support - people who are interested in assisting resettled Afghan special immigrants and other refugees can reach out to their local refugee resettlement agency for information about how they can support in their communities. There is a list of resettlement agency and affiliate contacts at www.wrapsnet.org.
