Message from Community Development & Code Compliance
Message from Community Development & Code Compliance:
Prince George County’s Department of Community Development and Code Compliance is hosting the third in a series of community meetings for the residents of Baxter Ridge subdivision to discuss and evaluate drainage and flooding issues in the neighborhood. I’d like to thank you again if you attended one of our in-house meetings, and invite those that may have been unable to attend previously to join us on Wednesday, August 18th, at the Baxter Ridge Park from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
Representatives from James River Soil and Water Conservation District and Prince George County will be in attendance to assist with questions and concerns, and to document any areas of concern in the neighborhood. We have also once again invited our State and Federal partners to attend if possible- VDOT, Department of Conservation and Recreation (land conservation, dam safety and floodplain management), and US Army Corp of Engineers (wetlands).
We would greatly appreciate it if you would share this meeting information with fellow residents you know who may want to attend and were unable to come to the in-house meetings.
