August 6-8 - Virginia Sales Tax Holiday: Tax-free for qualifying school supplies, clothing/ footwear, emergency preparedness items & energy-efficient products - Statewide.


Sat., Aug. 7 - Prince George Farmers' Market at Scott Park Pavilion, 6380 Scott Memorial Park Road, from 8:00am - 12:00pm.


Sat., Aug. 7 - Back to School Event - hosted by the Prince George Social Services & Police Departments will be curbside at Prince George High School, 7801 Laurel Spring Road, from 9:00am - 12:00pm.


Tues., Aug. 10 - Prince George County Board of Supervisors Work Session & Public Meeting in the Board Room, 3rd Floor of the Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, at 6:00pm & 7:00pm.


Wed., Aug. 11 - "Virtual Mobile McEachin" - Constituents can schedule appointments to speak directly to a caseworker about their issue(s) with a federal agency, from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Constituents can sign up for an appointment at:


Thurs., Aug. 12 - Civilian Military Council (CMC) Meeting (local leaders - invitation only), at the Lee Club, Fort Lee Officer's Club, Ft. Lee, VA, from 11:30am - 1:30pm.


Fri., Aug. 13 - The Convenience Station at Union Branch Road will be closed for repairs to the site.  No trash will be accepted on this day, but the station will reopen for normal business hours on Saturday, August 14. 

Drive-Thru Back-to-School Event Saturday at PGHS

Prince George County Social Services, in partnership with the Police Department and Prince George County School Division, will host a 'Back to School' event from 9 a.m. - 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 6 at Prince George High School. The event will be drive-thru only.

Important Things to Know

The due date for payment of personal property, real property and storm water taxes and fees was Wednesday, June 5 in the Office of the Treasurer. The Board of Supervisors has waived penalty and interest until August 31, 2021.
