Home Repairs, Wells & Septic Systems
SERCAP’s Indoor Plumbing & Rehabilitation Program (IPR) supports people who do not have indoor plumbing, non-potable (contaminated) water, as well as people with incomplete plumbing, due to a failing septic sys-tem . The program assists not only with water and sewer needs, but also provides for the complete repair of the home to bring it to Housing Quality Standards. The program does not provide for cosmetic improvements. This program is funded by The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).
Counties Served: Highland, Augusta, Albemarle, Page, Greene, Nelson, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Louisa, Rockingham, and Shenandoah.

If you own and occupy your home (your primary residence), and you currently earn a low to moderate income SERCAP may be able to assist you with a grant or loan to pay for repairs.
