ACCESS TO I-95 NORTH FROM I-85 NORTH

TO CLOSE FOR PAVING IN PETERSBURG

Drivers are encouraged to use the posted detour route

PETERSBURG – Beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews will close access to I-95 north from I-85 north in Petersburg for bridge paving. Weather permitting, work is expected to be complete by 5 a.m. Friday, October 11.

During the work, drivers should follow the posted detour route to access I-95 north:

• From I-85 north – Take Exit 68 to I-95 south. Continue on I-95 south to Exit 48A (Wagner Road) and use the clover leaf ramps to access I-95 north.
