(Prince George, VA) – Shooting into Occupied Dwelling  

On 10/5/19, at approximately 3:37 AM, Prince George County Police responded to the 12000 block of Johnson Road in reference to a disturbance involving “shots fired.” Unknown suspect/s fired numerous bullets into an occupied residence. Police officers recovered numerous cartridge cases from the scene.  No one was injured in this incident. 
As reported to police, while this incident was unfolding, a neighbor exited his residence and observed the suspect vehicle, described as a black pickup truck, on the roadway. The neighbor fired several shots at the vehicle. The suspect vehicle quickly exited the area. It is unknown at this time if the vehicle was struck by the gunfire or if any occupants of vehicle were injured. 
This is a second reported incident of this nature in this area within the past week.
