Tri-Cities Baseball organization lists 20 potential nicknames; fan voting to determine identity
COLONIAL HEIGHTS – After receiving hundreds of submissions, Tri-Cities Baseball 2020 released its Top 20 name list to the public Tuesday night. In a video posted to social media and the Tri-Cities Baseball 2020 webpage, owner Chris Martin thanked everyone for submitting a name and provided details on the next steps. Submissions were received from all across the Commonwealth as well as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Top 20 finalists will be notified of their selection. Online voting will begin Wednesday, September 18th and run through Saturday, September 28th.
The official Tri-Cities Baseball 2020 Top 20 name list is as follows in alphabetical order:

On October 17th, the Top 20 finalists will join Martin at Shepherd Stadium where the Top-five will be revealed before the winner is announced. The grand prize includes a multi-game All-You-Can-Eat ticket package for the inaugural 2020 season, team hat and exclusive ‘I Named The Team’ T-shirt.
