(Prince George, VA) – Hit and Run 4700 Block Prince George Drive

On Sunday, October 23, 2016, at approximately 5:30 PM, a cyclist riding on the 4700 block of Prince George Drive was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle subsequently left the scene of the crash without identifying himself or rendering aid to the victim.

Several witnesses provided information to police officers about the driver, the suspect vehicle, and the sequence of events. Based on the evidence and eyewitness reports, a cyclist, traveling southbound on Prince George Drive, was struck by a northbound vehicle. The cyclist sustained significant injuries.

The Prince George County Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with this hit and run crash. The suspect vehicle is described as a red/silver in color, 4 door car, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am, driven by a white male. There may be damage to the right side of the vehicle as a result of the impact.
